In May 2025, I visited Lisbon for a city break and was instantly drawn to its charm — the steep cobbled streets, tiled facades, and warm, golden light. The city felt alive yet unhurried, with the scent of grilled sardines in the air and the sound of fado drifting from quiet corners. From the sweeping views at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte to slow walks through Alfama and evenings by the Tagus, Lisbon offered a beautiful rhythm of colour, history, and simple pleasures.
